Oh, my! This looks exciting, since it's not my house in chaos. Are you adding on or combining rooms or what? And is there a nicer sewing studio in the works for you? Hope all goes well and efficiently so you can enjoy your holidays.

Not sewing room, that is the only room with the bedroom still intact. We are reshaping the living room so we can see our garden. We lived here for 25 years and have always said what a shame we can't see the main garden. In the near future we can!

Just keep saying over and over to yourself. It's going to look great when finished. What I can see looks like you will have a nice sturdy house.

\I'm sure it is going to improve but it is bitter cold in the house at the moment. Luckily I can heat my sewing room so I am in there most of the tie!

Wow! I think the dog is supervising the work. I went through this with a kitchen once and it was worth it to correct a poor design. Good luck! Kay

The dog loves it! all the builders feeing her biscuits! Kitchen is also in a mess as we have taken a bit of the kitchen and hallway to enlarge the living room.

Boy can I commiserate! While you have the walls empty be sure to add all the soundboard, insulation or electrical outlets that you could ever dream of wanting. So much easier when the walls are down, to the studs anyway. I must have carried our house plans around for more than 5 years. We still have a bit more to go, but each area, that is finally finished, it feels so good. It can be a slow process, especially if there are parts that are subbed out to contractors or that need inspections to be done. Best wishes for good weather, hard workers and patience to look past the disaster that must be created, in order to get to the completed state. Pam

I asked my husband how many sockets we were going to have in the living room. He thought 14 I made sure we have 20!

Oh my! What an undertaking. I should have sent Ron to see you. My house /walls are beginning to look like Swiss cheese from Ron and his W/C or his falling. Holes in walls and doors everywhere you look/Lillian

I can completely understand what you mean. We have remodelled our bathroom last 4 weeks. What a live, what a mess, what dust... Everywhere in the house... Sleepingrooms, cellar,... And like an other cutie wrote' say to yourselves.. It will be so much better and nicer when finished... We are almost at the end, starting to clean up everywhere. i'm sure I will be happy when everything is back to normal and clean. Keep us updated . What kind of place this room will become ?

Wow major work...e are in the middle of renovations too. The tenants left us a mess when they moved out Left a big hole in the bathroom floor that went down to the basement . We had to strip out the bathroom and repair the floor. New walls the works. SIGH... Gotta love tenants NOT... good luck!
