I am sitting here with the Air Con on because it is sticky hot here. Looking at the Snow / ICE feels good to me.

Carolyn, super photograph. When you don't live in these conditions you do not appreciate just how cold it is and the mess it leaves when thawing . Living on the other side of the world we would just like a little bit of this winter weather. Where i am does only get an odd few days at the most minus 4 to 5 degrees during winter time NO SNOW but frosts,we are about 3 to 3 1/2 hours from the ski fields. however summer is 40 + + + . Can't have perfect i guess. You and your husband stay warm. Sandra.

23C here in Newcastle today and expecting 29 tomorrow! It's been very sticky the past few days - stinking hot on Thursday - unfortunately I had to go out to the Chiropractor at 2.00 and it was dreadful! My car was over 36 just after being in the sun for a few minutes and it reached 41C throughout the day. I'd love a bit of cold, but I don't think minus 18 would be comfoftable. Love your son's home with the snowman and reindeer. Love Chris

I think I am content to enjoy the snow and cold through looking at your pictures! My body and cold do not get along well and purposely choose to live where we do, as it only has a few very hot or very cold days each year, but do love the look of it. The cold crisp air and the quiet peacefulness that abounds is a treasured memory of those times. To me it makes the world seems calm and peaceful. Thank You for sharing the photos you do. Pam

Lovely to look at but it's too cold. My daughter used to get snow like that but then she moved south to the warmer temps. Hard work to keep driveway and roof clear. Glad your staying warm.

What a cute snowman!!! It was in the upper 60's today, going to cold and raining Monday.. I just wish it would stay one way or the other..

Very cute , I only lived in the USA for 4 Christmas's but loved it , here In Australia we are worrying if it is going to be over 100 deg of not but I have wonderful memories of my cold snowy Christmas's with good friends and a wonderful house covered in snow.

Snow...........brrrrrrr.... haven't had a lot of snow here in the south in a while. I love the snowman......of course.... hehehe Don't know when and if we'll see any snow....we might get a dusting....sometime in March. hehe

Wow. It never cease to amaze me that all over the world temperatures vary...so hot one place freezing cold in another...I think this is fantastic everyone can choose where we would love to live and enjoy natures best of what ever is thrown at us and we do manage to survive. how wonderful your photo is.. thanks for showing ME...and all of us...xxxx
