If I have 124 jumps to trim, I'd better be well started on a whole quilt. They are pretty to look at.

By your description of the design, it sounds as though it might have been auto-digitized. I don't enjoy stitching designs made using that method, as they are usually very disjointed with tons of jumps.

So, after it finished stiching out and you clipped all the jumps, did it at least look good?

I'v e heard it depends on the digitizer and they have many digitizers posting there.

Under the design set it says comment on this set on our forum . Maybe you should do that.

I have & most are very good. Try some others. Their in the hoop things are very good. (if you make the zipper tissue holders, which I love, you need to add 1 inch to the length of fabric-7" instead of 6"- as it's a tiny bit small. Otherwise, stitches out great. Does your machine have the auto jump stitch cutter? I actually hate it, so keep it turned off, but with that many jumps if the back wasn't going to show, I think I'd turn it on & add that feature to the file!

They are asking for new digitisers and I had a look at their conditions. One of them is that the digitiser has to make any necessary changes after it is accepted. So they should take your complaint seriously.

I hate avoidable jumps and 114 would put me off as well.

I never had a membership but downloaded a number of freebies in the past. I find the quality varies depending on the digitiser, from unacceptable like yours to well-digitised. You might make some notes on digitisers and stay clear of the dodgy ones.

I agree it mostly depends on the digitiser .Some are good but there are some very dodgy designs as well.

Yikes that is way to many jump stitches. I agree it depends on the digitizer some are very good, others haven't the experience & is tends to show. ~hugs~

I have a membership... The designs I have done have been good. I have not tried this set. They are usually real good at answering any questions.

I had a membership for a while all I stitched out where good, but It has been some time ago .

Just downloaded the set you are talking about and I see what you mean. It is jumping all over the place. Almost looks like it was multi coloured and all the colours have been changed to the same but colour sequence not changed. Pity as the butterfly is lovely in that set.
I hope they sort out what is going wrong as I have done some lovely ones from them in the past. I would be angry if I had bought the set.

I have a membership and all of the designs I have stitched out are excellent. Sometimes there is a jump stitch that isn't needed but but I can live with one or two. I will continue to renew my membership as there are a lot of projects and designs on there, that you can't find elsewhere.

I have had a lifetime membership for several years. most of the designs i've stitched are good or better. There are some digitizers better than others, If you have a problem it depends on who you get to talk to how much help you get. I paid $75 dollars for my membership many years ago and I feel it was a decent deal. If you are new & starting out at least you have a variety of designs.

did you see that this set has been fixed and fix was uploaded on Dec 8th. For any members or purchasers of the set, if you downloaded it prior to that date, you can redownload it with the fixes.

A few years ago I purchased a set of hockey players so I could make a hockey fleece blanket, and every one of those had so many jumps and unneeded thread changes, I am very careful about which digitizers I use designs from. It is good to run a stitch simulator on any of their designs first! I was a real state of exhaustion when I finished those hockey players. But I couldn't find any any other site! So I used them, but not since!!! Hugs, Judy...

I see that they are looking for test stitchers. You should consider becoming one.
