A new bag for gift giving! I love this blue twill fabric it is strong & durable & a lovely colour too. I bought a couple yards so plan to use it making lots of bags this year. I recently saw (I think on Crafty Gemini) the idea to use a ribbon to dress up the handles & thought it was very pretty so I added it here. I used french seams as well so no raw edges

This is a very pretty design and a very useful bag. Enjoy stitching up many of them. Word of warning... if you send any snowballs my way. they will melt before arrival. hehe

It's a lovely bag. The blue makes a wonderful winter backdrop for your snowball appliqué..
I like using ribbon on handles, no need to turn them after stitching, just iron the seams to the front and stitch the ribbon over the raw edges; perfect.

What a pretty gift bag! Love the blue color as a back for snowballs design. And I agree with everyone that the ribbon really does dress the handles up.... I'm going to try that on the next one I make.
