A good idea to use metallic thread on these. Give them a lot of sparkle. Did you applique them on to these fabric? Or did you make them to hang? I was thinking making a sandwich of fabric, stabilizer fabric with the right sides of fabric facing outward and metallic in the bobbin might make them sturdy enough to hang if not appliqued.

These are applique. I would never put metallic in my bobbin. That's a recipe for disaster. I use blue ink(very dark blue) thread in the bobbin. And Kingstar Metallic in the top.
