Hello everyone, I hope I am in putting this in the right spot. I am in desperate need of help. I have a Pfaff 2140 that has been upgraded to a 2170. The piece that transfers the design from my laptop to the machine is broken up by where the cord goes into the card. I could buy a machine with the complete embroidery set on ebay or a new machine, but I can't afford either. Can anyone tell me where I can try to get this transfer cord or if they have a working one they are willing to sell. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Done, but the other one. I wish I could help you just as fast with your problem, but I have no clue. Have you tried a Pfaff dealer?

Thanks for your help. Yes, I have tried my dealer and he wanted me to call other dealers.

Try the yahoo group SewItsForSale. Perhaps someone has one to sell. Hugs. Nan W

What a time to have such a problem. My first port of call is always my dealer who is brilliant, my second is to look on ebay.

O searched last night and found one online and found one that had been sold (used for $50 and more than just the cord) and another that was more than the cord for $200 My internet went down so I did get the chance to copy it here. I do hope you find what you need -- soon!

I really appreciate that. I would definitely like to know that site. I certainly understand about the silly phones, mine does it to me all the time. :)

I posted a site earlier but fortunately it hasn't come up because I had my sites/names mixed up!! Try sewing Parts Online
Also some of the Husqvarna Vikings are compatible with Pfaff so maybe you can check with a Viking Dealer.

Thanks so very much. I will check out this site for sure. Also a good idea about the Viking dealer. I had considered checking out the prices on Viking machines since they use the same embroidery format as the Pfaff. Thank you.

Checked the site, but did not see the transfer card and cable that I needed. Thanks anyway. I appreciate it.
