For those who have followed along with my whining, a little follow up for you and a quick recap for those new to my foot saga!
I had bilateral foot surgery on 9/18 and developed a post op infection that required three doses of antibiotics and one of my vertical screws turned horizontal and was coming out of my foot and the third site I told my doctor I felt the same thing was happening and he doubted me.
I had bilateral surgery last Wednesday to repair damage from the 1st surgery. And yes, both screws came out from where they were supposed to be. So ladies, ADVOCATE for yourselves!!!
Am currently healing, slow,y but healing nonetheless.

Lee, I am so sorry you have gone through all this difficulty No one can know our own body better than we ourselves do. I can only wish that your doctor had listened the first time you said that something was not right. After the first time I would have thought the doctor would have understood that you would know if things were similar as to the first foots, complications. Hoping you can now heal well and without any more detours in your road to recovery and huge hugs for all you have gone through. Pam

You are not whining but venting and that is healthy. Kudos to you for taking care of yourself. I'm proud of you for taking care of yourself and teaching the doctor to listen. Please keep healing and prayers are going up for NO MORE issues.

Been there too and still having issues with my foot. Hopefully everything will heal the way it is suppose to and you will be up and walking normal soon. Prayers are with you!
