this is what else I got for my Birthday. The 4 girls a sn n law and my hubby all went in together and got me this Babylock sewing machine, their ALine and it's a Katherine.

Sn n law talked to my dealer last week and took me this morning to get it. Now if I can just learn to use it. This is not embroidery just sewing but it has 190 fancy stitches. If only I could dance a jig I would/Lillian

Thank you Jerrilyn Had 3 sewing machines but they were old,old and would have to rob parts off each to sew. Had never had a brand new sewing machine except the embroidery one. They were all used before I got them.

Congratulations on your new machine. You'll have it all down in no time. Looking forward to seeing some of the wonderful creations you'll be making. Dance a jig in your chair, with your hands and arms. It'll let everyone know how happy you are.

I am so very happy for you! All the giving (exactly how many dresses for charity?),you have so free hearted done, has come back a hundred fold! I know you must be thrilled to have a brand new one. You surely deserve it and it goes to show, your family have learned their generous spirit from you! Many happy hours of sewing are wished for you.-Toogie

So happy you have received a wonderful birthday gift from your loving family and a material stash to boot!! Now both machines will be going and this new machine will be so much easier for you to sew with, than how you have been managing up until now. If any of your old machines are the old heavy duty metal gear machines, I would recommend keeping one for when you are sewing heavy work jeans or if making a rag edge quilt that you have 8 or 12 fabric layers that you are stitching over. Even with my emb/sewing machine I still turn to my 1950's singer 401 when I am doing those types of projects. I too will join everyone in doing a happy dance, for and with you, as it will make your sewing so much easier for you and lots of fancy stitches will be a big bonus too! Since you have sewed for years it will probably not take you too long to figure out all the bells and whistles to this machine and what is still confusing, then likely someone here will be able to help out or you would also likely find videos on you tube to help guide you. Don't forget as a new purchase there would also likely be a free class as needed to help accustom you to your new machine. Hope you find it easy to learn about your new machine and once again, Happy Birthday, Enjoy!! Pam
