Some sheepish gifts for my daughter who crochets.

I began with a pack of 5 batik fat quarters and a piece of In-R-Form to make the bag. The sheep crochet design is from Embroidery Library (there is another one on the back.
From the left over fabric I made a quilted zipped purse and a crochet hook case. The designs for these are my own from Yoriko's site.
I did adapt the crochet hook case so there was no satin stitch edge and I added an elastic loop to fasten instead of Velcro.
To finish the gift off I will add some rather expensive Herdwick wool.

Gorgeous set. Great work. May I ask? Is that a Harp? What beautiful tones you have in your home.

Love the way you quilted the bag. There are never enough holders for my crochet needles. Don't know exactly how many I have. But got all my moms and grandmother's along with their knitting needles. Every size imaginable tiny 12(Steele) to great big broomstick size. I love to crochet as much as I love to embroider. Knitting is down the line /Lillian LOL.

My guess, is that Sue sees a need and then she fills it.
Is that close, Sue?

Lovely ensemble. But I would require more hook bags as I too have acquired a large number of hooks over the years. I do have my grandmother's but that only accounts for two hooks. The rest I have bought as I put them down and then cannot find my hooks = lots of hooks.
Your daughter will love your thoughtful gift.
{If not, I will join the queue to be on your gift list. :-) }

whole set looks great Sue. The most recent hook that I have is a 'Clover' brand and has a big handle bit and is very comfortable to use.

Great result. I knew when I started reading that you were going to fill the gift, too! Awesomely planned, personalized gift. She can't help but think about you as she crochets.
