I thought I'd show you a couple of photographs I took at our Arts and Crafts Exhibition yesterday. I'm afraid the background doesn't help much! The pictures show some of the things made by the Stitching Bee group I run.
The painted blackthorn twigs are hung with a large number of felt ornaments, some made ith and some made by hand. The same person made the Embroidery Library tealight covers in the foreground. The lady looking rather like a peacock is a collage of Dorset buttons fabric and various embellishments. The stocking and cushion are hand quilted by yet another member. Finally, the quilt was hand made by my good friend using the shirts of her husband who sadly died a few months ago.
Clever lot, aren't they?
