Yes, the did. I'm off to make a few more. It's fun to use them for Christmas as you never know when you might need an extra gift. I don't like any one coming and leaving empty handed; that makes me feel bad. :)

looks very nice. I think I have the bauble, but haven't made it. FSL not my favourite thing to do, but they are worth the effort if you can be in the mood to do it!

These are so cute! I never thought to use variegated threads on FSL... Because of how FSL stitches, it doesn't result in the striping that you see when you use it for fill or satin stitches... simply beautiful. What a great idea! These are very pretty with the matching solid bows. Thanks for sharing your work with us.

The variegated threads do work really well on the ornaments as the pattern of stitching is so diverse. Thanks for stopping by. Try it for yourself and see what results you get. On darker colors of variegated the effect really shows. :)
