Waiting for and working for. In my younger years ,you worked and saved till you had enough to purchase what you wanted. Something you had to have immediately you bought on time making monthly payments,but that would be like a car to get to work in or a stove to cook on etc. An electric mixer well you saved pennies(or green stamps) till you had enough to get one. Anyone here remember those days? Once you got something you had waited and saved for you took very good care of it so it would last a looooong time. Anyone here remember those days of no credit cards?/Lillian

Oh Miss Lillian I remember it very well. Actually I still live that way. No way is the credit card company getting my hard earned money. It is amazing how much they charge in Interest. If one of us ordinary people would charge that we would be in jail for usury. .
