I bought a cute little winter sleeper for the new great-grand-daughter but hubs thinks it looks like a boys. I decided I would add a bow to the reindeer but I can't manage to get this in the hoop & center it @ the same time so I thought I could use fusible & press it on but I am not sure how to make a patch style embroidery can anyone help me with this? ok thank you cuties for all your suggestions & I am happy to say I did just what was recommended & this is the "new" Improved sleeper with a cute hat too. Do you think this is girly now?

Why not stitch a length of ribbon on the top of her head and tie it in a bow. (On the reindeer, not the baby.) If the ribbon gets "worn" it could easily be unpicked.
BTW I think it looks really cute just as it is - and not like a boys at all!

just make your own bow cut a 4 inch square of 2 fabrics and stitch all the was around them right sides together and leave a opening for turning and then cut a 1x4 piece that you turn the sides in to make as the center of the bowturn the long side in 1/4 inch and then fold together stitch down long side and then use it on the center of your 4 inch bow and measure then you can either stich in place or pin with a small safety pin from backside. nice because you can pin whereever you want and looks 3D. However Sue is right its adorable like it is.

Great sleeper very cute. Why don't you make a bow 3D and sew it on like a button. That way you can put it where you like.
Happy stitching!! :~)
