I am sooooo excited I just had to tell my friends that would understand my excitement. My mother had overheard me and a lady I work with talking about wanting a Janome 500E. She just dropped one off to me for Christmas. She said she went home and ordered it the day she heard me talking about it. My 300E is on its last leg. I am just beside myself excited!!!!!!!

Wowie! What a great surprise. Tell her next year, you're thinking about replacing your car... Just kidding. I think making her a nice big cushion would be a start. Maybe get used to some small stitching projects first.

Super gift, mine arrived early from my husband. I understand how happy you are. I am absloutely thrilled to bits with mine, have used the bobbin thread already that came with the machine as a gift from the dealer along with lots of other goodies. I hope that you too managed to get these gifts with your machine. It embroiders wonderfully so far with out a glitch, just hums away and keeps on going, love the thread cutter system and the larger hoops. Have completed lots of Yorikos lace christmas trees, and heaps of note book holders out of felt. One very happy customer of the 500e hope you too will be thrilled with what it can do
