I've just got home from carol singing on the village green. In the pouring rain. There were about 30 of us (it is a very small village,) We English are indeed mad, but we made a glorious noise and it had stopped raining by the time we finished!

Happy Christmas to all.

How nice Sue. We had Carolers here late Sunday evening. Lots of children among them. So blessed and they brought a basket of goodies fruit , candy, even new dish towel's,a banana nut loaf and a Christmas Cactus that was in bloom. A tradition in this neighborhood for the elderly and shut ins./Lillian

Even with the rain, it sounds like it was a fun time. I'm sure your joyful noise brought smiles to a lot of faces. Merry Christmas to you and Mike.

No one says we have to be in key! The Bible says "make a joyful noise.." so your songs were joyful, no matter what! I think that is really neat for the village to sing together!! Merry Christmas to you!

How wonderful. It rained here all day yesterday (Tuesday) too. We don't have Carolling here unless you are at Church and hear the choirs there. We have our Christmas Eve service tomorrow afternoon at 6.00pm, where I lead the singing (only 6 houses away, so I can walk). The kids are so excited as they await Santa to arrive that evening leaving their gifts. God bless you and Mike for all that you do. Love Chris
