Grandmother's flower garden quilt for one of my daughters. Top is not quite finished. about a weeks work to do on it. Sorry I had put in Projects but as it has no machine embroidery it should be here in sewing. G

When I started cutting them I cut 2.5" strips and used a template and rotary cutter to cut out. when edges are turned over the papers they measure 1.75. I now cut them with a go cutter and die and cut the strips at 2.5/8". I look forward to seeing your quilt .G

Lovely, my grandmother was a quilter and this was one of the patterns she used often. She did everything by hand, even the piecing and all the pieces were individually cut from scraps. I think this is what kept her alive so long. She probably would have gone batty without quilting and other needle arts to keep her occupied. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
