Ah, yes. The Purple Reminder. At least you're colorful for Christmas - and mostly finished stitching?

You have the right attitude, you do know the tricks to help yourself....and having the cast on now, means that it comes off sooner. Try to do everything you are still OK to do, and do things that will lift your spirit, I am so happy the cast is purple. If you are suppose to have your arm in a sling too, then I think you have the skill and the designs to create one that will help to lift your heart each time you see the message on the sling. Learn to use the cast to help you. We know you well enough that we also know you are not going to stop doing everything, but I hope you can choose activities that are not too difficult for your body, and when you know you are pushing the limits of what you should be doing, try to find ways to "jerry rig" a helpful tool so between the cast, the sling and the tool you can accomplish what you are wanting to, but without stressing the arm or hurting anything else for that matter. Prayers that you will heal quickly and that you will be content with some of the other projects you will need to be doing in the coming weeks. Praying you have a huge dose of wisdom, so you will know when you are getting ready to cross the line, so you won't end up hurting yourself. Yep faith and prayers, I know you already know that you will not only survive this, but you will also find a way to still soar. You always do. It is you and Christ together, against every challenge that comes your way. Figure out what you are suppose to be learning from this trial and also what are the people around you suppose to be learning. What spiritual opportunities are being opened up to you, while you are having these added physical limitations. You inspire so many people. ((Hugs)) Pam

Oh no, Carolyn a purple monster has eaten your arm! I'm hope you are able to get Mr. Frosty out of the freezer, maybe he can help you untangle yourself from this dreaded creature! lol
I hope this little purple 'pill' helps you and keeps you from hurting. What an adventure you are on. Do you have enough outfits to coordinate with this contraption? It's a gorgeous color and looks wonderful on your arm. hugs and God Bless you.

Noah I hope you get healed soon. Those beasty things hurt. We just don't realize all the repetitive things we do when we embroidery and stitch. My son in law is physical therapist and he's given me the exercises my doctor says I should do for my shoulder blade but I tell you---nothing beats the cortisone shot I had in my top left shoulder joint. I can now raise my arm up. Should have done that year or two ago when family doctor said to do. Yes your arm and fingers look really swollen. Hope it all settles down soon. Santa hasn't been kind to you and you have to listen to your doc, rest my friend let your body heal. You realize the next step could be surgery, (ask me how I know lol).

Strange I see this today. My friend is a doctor's wife, she had tennis elbow. She got a good personal trainer to work on strengthening the arm muscles and after lots of hard work she has been pain free for several years. I hope you get better soon, because Christmas is coming! Lol I do hope your arm heals quickly. Suzanna
