Look what my friend gave me for Christmas. She knew that I liked purple and went with that! I was so surprised. She does her binding all by hand. This is such a beautiful job! I just wanted to share my special Christmas gift. Kay

If she didn't document it, you can - make a label for the back - who from and to and the occasion. I have the coolest old rotten silk 1903 (?) quilt that has the initials of the receiver, the year, the total number of pieces in it (Crazy quilt) and lots of fancy stitches - made by a group of her friends. I could never part with it - it is a testament of love and caring.
