Here is one more tutorial. Most of these links that I have given use fleece, but I have also seen some made with old sweaters & socks. Some of the sweaters were felted first.

I purchased an in-the-hoop fingerless glove design from our Vicki about a year ago. Her designs are wonderful and very reasonably priced!!!! They are referred to as mitts.
