12/5/16 Twelfth Night. I listened to carols while I stitched and lighted the tree one last time tonight. Might finish off the chocolate covered cherries, as all the special Christmas food is gone except the homemade veggie soup! New Year's resolution - to put a date at the head of my entries!

Yes, I forgot today is the 12th day of Christmas. I am freezing the leftover collard greens and black eyed peas. Kay

Well, as I can't climb the stairs into the attic, to get the boxes my tree and deco go in, my tree may be up until Easter! :(...I'm glad I like it and everyone is sure gonna get to see it, if they didn't come during the holidays....the Christmas holidays!-lol......chocolate covered cherries are a favorite of mine, but I only like the ones with the syrup, not the cream inside. My daughter bought me a box of chocolate covered blueberries. I do like blueberries and hardly ever refuse chocolate (lol) but they are still in refrigerator. Yuk!-lol-

Red hearts and satin bows for Valentines, shamrocks for St. Paddy's, eggs for Easter, that is, if they are allowing you scissors!!!

It wouldn't do me any good to make the crafts for different seasons...I can't stand on one leg and un-decorate to re-decorate the tree!!! In this chair for at least 3 more weeks!!!

Because it's confusing when someone's old post reappears as a "new" problem and because it has been suggested..

The age of the thread is there to see when you open it, Dates can be really confusing as we all have different ways of writing them! To me, you are posting this on 12th May 2016!

12th Night is the 12th day of Christmas when all decorations come down. The Church of England says it is 6th January (Epiphany) but if you count from 25th December it is 5th January. They are debating this on the radio as I type!
