Not hard to do as it is the best part of the day and before it gets too hot. Before I retired I was up at 3am to start work at 5am.

This is wonderful Barbara, I love the comment! I usually go for my early morning walk about 6.00am but we have Daylight saving down here in NSW. I haven't been for over 3 weeks as it takes me hours to get moving at the moment. I'll be back doing it as soon as I can. Do you live in Queensland? Love Chris

Thank you. No pattern just cut fabric about 11 inches wide x 20 inches long. Wanted it wide enough for the design to fit. The strap I just measured where I wanted the top of the bag to sit on me.
Forgot to say yes this is the Beach within walking distance of my house. No view from the house though. I cheat as I drive down with my DH and get him to walk at least some of it. But the walk back up the hill would be too much for him.
Thanks for the info...one more thing, have you closed with a zipper or magnetic snap? Love the fabric
