Snowflakes all around

I made over a hundred of these snowflakes for gifts to go with my homemade jams for Christmas. I caught the fsl bug after spending a day at a demo for the Janome 500e. I have been so busy I have only just managed to find the time to share. They were so much fun to make and my kids helped out too.

They were all made on my 350e. The small ones took around 20mins to stitch out each so I made over half a dozen in each colour. I could fit several designs in the one hooping. The larger ones were taking over 40mins each and I could only make one per hooping so I didn't make as many. I experimented with variegated thread and really liked the look so made a bunch more.
I also added glitter glue to some of the snowflakes for extra sparkle.

In case anyone was wondering, sorry I do not remember where these designs are from. I downloaded them a while back and forgot to file them under the designers name. So if you happen to know please leave a comment so others can find. Thanks so much.

These are all very pretty, you have done a wonderful job. I like the variated thread, i made some christmas trees from Yoriko's site in variegated greens and was thrilled with the result. Also my first attempt at FSL am hooked now, hopefully will do lots more this year. Sandra.

Second photo lower left is for sure the free design from Sadia Sews - I've made a bunch of that one so recognize it (gift 2007). I think some of the others may be hers - from the main web page, it's special downloads and snowflakes are mostly her gifts. The style on the bottom photo looks like Murphys Designs tatting. You've done a lovely job.

Great job. That was a lot of work. I've done a few FSL, but none since my machine messed up and had to go to the dr.. hehe I haven't tried any since, but might just have to start again. Thanks for sharing. Mechille :)
