I don't very often make anything for myself so I decided to make myself this wallet. I added embroidery to the front flap and it was the first time I've embroidered on faux leather. Pattern is the Necessary Clutch Wallet PDF pattern purchased from etsy.

Most pattern pieces have been interfaced and the body and flap have peltex (a heavy stabilizer) in them.

Thanks Chris, I have had quiet a busy few month with my partner having 2 surgeries in less than 2 months, it's been an eventful Christmas and New year.

I'm not much of a fan of wallets, but seeing yours I'm beginning to appreciate how fantastic they can be! Your attention to detail and eye for color and fabric combination is amazing. I don't think I've ever seen a latch like that before on one of these wallets. Can you share how you insert a latch like that?
