I've been making purses as gifts here are 2 I made, the ironman for my daughter and the pink girl superhero for my niece. The pattern is the Necessary Clutch Wallet, it's a pdf pattern that I purchased in the Etsy store

Beautifully done. I have been making those too & I noticed you used the stitching on the gusset on one of them & brads on the other one. Do you like one way better than the other? I have only stitched mine.

I decided to try rivets (7mm double capped) as it was fiddly and hard to sew though all the layers! but I really don't have a preference I think they both work.

WOW,WOW,WOW, Karen, you outdo each previous Project you make. I love the crispness of this little wallet/purse. The fabrics you are using are they all cotton? How do you get such crisp folds in the purse? Just fabulous work and as you know I'm a huge fan of your work. Keep it coming, well done. Love Chris

Thanks Cathy, The fabrics are quilting cotton and have been interfaced with legacy sf101 (beautiful smooth woven interfacing). I also used shape form interfacing on the outer of the zip compartments, it gives it a little more firmness. the body and flap have a Peltex (thick stabilizer) insert added to them.
