Hi cuties
Thought I would show you a Christmas cushion I made for my show. These designs are from Anita Good design for the most part. I quilted my fabric beforehand, embroidered my design and added a border and some snowflakes to complete. I love how it turned out.

Oh! wow, wow, wow, Michelle this is just beautiful. I love the effective quilting you've done. The snowman scene on the front is just perfect for this pillow. It looks too pretty to use. I think I'd have that on display and just sit down and admire it. I hope you do some of these for yourself too. There aren't enough words for me to describe how much I love this. Can I ask did you digitise these designs, or did you buy them? Love Chris

This is gorgeous. It looks like you've quilted suede or faux suede and makes it look expensive. Anita Goodesign has fabulous designs and projects. I am sure your show will be a huge success.

Just looked again--You have a huge hoop. And, does your machine quilt in the hoop also? I love the snowflake type line quilting. Just wondering what settings you used and if you drew the quilt lines and programmed your machine to quilt it like that. Magnificent!

I have a large 16.45 x 16.45'' hoop and I took a smaller diamond quilting design, added and enlarged it to fit 14 x 14, quilted and then did the snowman design. The body of the snowman is applique. I can also quilt large blocks in my machine. Have done it on a king size quilt, saved alot of time.

Your ability to merge designs together and get them and placed exactly where you want them if amazing! The addition of that thin red ribbon is a nice touch. I was happy to see a project where the quilting was done first. I was thinking about doing that, and now that I've seen your example I feel more confident about trying it.
