This felt mat was a very depressing grey, as it's not halloween and my felt scraps were overflowing why not practice with my bernina felting foot. It'll work with a hand held needle felting tool too. So much fun and stops your too small felt scrap stash being tossed out. Thanks for taking a look.

That is a gorgeous make-over. I have checked several stores for this type of mat. They have something at Walmart in craft section that feels like hard felt and shaped like a flower. Don't know if it is the same thing or not.

Thank you. If you love the flower mat, grab it and embellish it to your hearts content. I found my mat in the dollar shops here in Australia a few years ago, it feels like hard felt and worked out great. I've also machine embroidered on them too.
