Been working on this cape/shawl for a couple of weeks....
one pic shows it with the ruffling at the front and the other is with the ruffling at the side......the last pic is the enormous needles I used.......I took a pic with a size 10 US and these are 50 US........I made my own yarn...I crocheted 3 strands of yarn together, after I mad a big ball I started to knit.......I bought the needles with the intention of knitting a cozy blanket with them, but I could see I didn't have enough yarn, so went with this little number.......I could see it over a little black dress.....

Never have I seen this huge pair of needles. Must have come from a specialty shop. That shawl looks great on your plum color mannequin also.

So pretty! Love the colors. Do you ever fit "sleep" in between all your multi-talented tasks? Crocheting 3 strands of yarn first, and then crocheting the shawl... what a gal. lol

Beautiful!!! Is the pattern one you made up or where did you buy it. I love to knit different things, but live in Florida. Not much call for beautiful knits.

I made it up, it started out as a blanket, but didn't have enough of the "fat yarn" to make a decent sized blanket so made the shawl instead........

Wow I love this. I have never seen needles this large. Do you not have trouble with your hands cramping using the large needles?. The shawl is gorgeous. Just my cup of tea/Lillian
