Good morning/evening Cuties - just had some great news - I'm going home today after being in hospital for the past week. As we have the girls now on a Friday he is coming in to collect me around 10ish. We only have them for today and next week on a Friday - then Ophelie starts school the first week of February. Having one on their own is so much better as there is no rivalry about who wants what and I'm afraid as Delphi is a 2 year old - she thinks everything belongs to her!!!

Anyway thanks for all your prayers and concern. I'll see the Professor on the 11th February. I'm coming home with a cocktail of painkillers and once I see him we'll try and work out a way to continue pain free, well that's my hope anyway. I'm also very happy, as I'm coming home on my 44th Wedding Anniversary.

Love Chris

Thanks Lyn, I'm just finishing a design that has been sitting in the machine since I went into hospital. Thank God for embroidery machines, all I have to do is put the different threads in. I'm not doing anything today. We are going to walk down to the Jewells Tavern 300 metres up the road and have lunch with the girls. There is a children's playground within the beer garden area and they love it. It also has nice Schnitzels!!!! Love Chris

Thanks Betsey, yes they are all good! The girls are watching something on tele and Trev is sitting with them. Not exactly his type of TV, but at least he is keeping them company while I'm down the end of the house in my women "cave" (sewing room with computer) Love Chris

Happy 44th Anniversary to Mr & Mrs Pennifold! I know you are happy to go home, but babysitting your first day home....ts..ts..ts. We had our 2 yr old today, but PaPa has to take her to potty. She was good and we just had her for about 3 hours. (See her photos in mermaid tails)..I do hope you are getting more rest and relief from pain. Hope sleep is better, too.

Yeah, I know, but what can you do? Amy and Steve are both in jobs now, so Poppy and Nanna to the rescue. I'm not doing anything but resting. Can't wait to getting back to normal, if I can. I love the mermaid tails. Brilliant job on them by the way Toogie. Love Chris

Thanks so much Kim, I've only finished off a design that I'd left sitting in the hoop since last Thursday. We all went to the local tavern for lunch which was lovely and back home I'm ready for another sleep and that's not like me, but the drugs are making me sleepy! Love Chris

Thanks so much Carolyn, I was thinking of you and the snow and thinking how nice it would be to have it cooler. I'm sweltering, have the air con on and down here in my sewing room the fan is on 2 (there are only 3 positions) if I had the 3 on you get stuff flying everywhere. I'm feeling a bit sleepy need to go and lie down. Love C

Thanks Sarah, I thought it might tickle your fancy!!! It's raining cats and dogs at the moment and humid. I'm sweating like a pig. I've made dinner and Trevor took the girls home for me. I am not allowed to drive for about a week, just giving my hip time to heal. I'm hoping so anyway. Gosh I hate the heat, being in the hospital it's all air-conditioned and you have no idea what it's like outside. Apparently on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday it was in the low 40's - when we left this morning I walked out the front glass doors and a blast of hot air met me plus high humidity! Yuck a double whammy. Have done nothing really today except having lunch down at the Jewells Tavern with the girls. That was enough anyway, I'm taking it really slow. Love Chris

We are having the same trouble with the heat. I cannot even sew :(
