I have about 5 to 7" of snow and in my backyard we have put out a bird feeder which has 20 red bird with their mates all in the trees and bushes and on the ground with 22.oTemptures and high winds in the foothills of NC.

We are next to get the storm in RI... Waiting for it and we are ready... I will feed the birds after the winds stop. My outside feral cats ate up their fill and they are now in their houses warm and cozy waiting for the storm too .

Brrrr, cold we only had around an inch with some of that melting yesterday but still a lot of patches and ice outside. I'm staying in. Cannot risk a fall. /Lillian
