Last week I got a new tablet so of course I needed to make a sleeve for it. I found some tutorials and "toogie"

sent me the links to some more. I read through all of them and then taking that information I created my own pattern and added the features I wanted. My first attempt turned out well but alas, it was too snug a fit for my tablet, so time to start over. The end result is a pouch with a large top zip opening and a zippered pocket to hold the charger. I used In-R-Foam for the base so it is very sturdy and well padded. Then, not wanting to waste the pieces I had quilted for the original project I turned them into two little bags. Thanks toogie for your input. I originally posted this in embroidery in error instead of sewing. This was all done with a regular sewing machine.

Queen you surprised me with the finished sleeve! I thought this week was going to be a busy week, I assumed with other things. You have been busy, all all look great! I knew they would, you sew so well... I guess tablets are like phones, they come in all sizes. I wonder what the largest size is? What are the measurements for laptops? I guess you can see, I have neither but would like to make one of each for a sister and SIL. ... Love the fabric!-Toogie

I take my tablet to work with me so I really needed a cover for it so I put some other things on the back burner and worked on a cover for the tablet instead. Laptops and tablets come in all sizes so it is nice to be able to customize instead of settling for a one size fits all.
