A few projects I've been working on. Daughter and SIL have returned from 2 1/2 years in Austria and are here for an extended stay of several months, so I try to keep the grand-children supplied with items to keep them busy. I also made a cloak for Jethro, but it did not have any embroidery on it.
I am picking up some German, but it's a slow process for me.

Well, I think you've done a marvellous job on all the items Therese. I know Raelene (from South Australia, a cute member) would love the purse with the ladybugs on it!! I'm sure you'll pick up some more German, it's very much like English - with some odd words that have no direct link!! I love how you've collated your pictures, well done. Enjoy making lots of little gifts etc. for the grand-children. Love Chris

I've noticed that about the words being very much like English. Some of the words they use also seem to be derivatives of French, too.
