I use my simplicity binding machine to prepare my binding using the 1'' attachment. Open the binding you will notice that the 2 folded piece are not the same size. When I sew my binding in place I (contrary to what is suggested) place the wider section of the folded binding on the top before I stitch. I do not use any type of glue, steam a seam etc. as I find it makes it harder to control. I simply place my fabric in the folded binding and almost always use a decorative stitch. It is important not to pull on the bindind, let it run it's course, just make sure your fabric is snug in the fold.
