Why you are not hearing much from me. Got up yesterday to Ron's BP @ 198/114 Today@ 196/121. Fighting to keep it down. It's a battle and somehow I don't think we are winning. Doing all we can to get and keep it down. /Lillian. Please don't forget us. UPDATE : The Dr is involved and there has been a Nurse here everyday for at !east an hour. Meds have been changed, we are doing all we can. He's given meds to bring it down but then it goes right back up. Yes it is way above stroke level when it goes that high, . Thank you so much for your prayers, I truly believe that's why he has not had a stroke .

So sorry to hear this. What does this indicate? I know when the blood pressure reaches that level, one can have a stroke. What do the Doctors think? I do pray for you and Ron. Kay

Hi Lillian, when my Husbands BP was high up, he would make himself a cinnamon tea, by using whole cinnamon sticks and boiling water, allowing it to cool, then drinking a cup of this. He would use 2 sticks. May be try this. Give it a try. Hugs Maureen

Dear Miss Lillian, I know how Ron feels. The evening I was admitted to hospital my blood pressure was 197/110 and I was visibly shaking. I was given medication to bring it down which were suitable for me. Of course I don't know Ron's medical history, but I pray that he can get it down to a respectable level. May God's mercy surround you all at this time. Love Chris

Oh, Miss Lillian, I could never forget to whisper your name during my prayer time. That is so very scary and you being a nurse, I'm sure it's even more so.
