Baby dress made with guess work and imagination. It measures just over 20" or 50 cm around the chest. Can someone tell me what age it might fit?

The bodice is made ITH and the row of baby animals is from Urban. The shoulders fasten with Kam Snaps.
I'm annoyed that I haven't stitched the skirt on quite level but I think it will show more if I try to correct it!

That is a darling summer dress.Love the row of animals
Maybe the link to a chart will help you to determine what size it is.

I was hoping for about 18 months! It is to send to my great great niece in Australia. She may have to grow into it!

That is so lovely. The designs look great. love the Broiderie Anglaise fabric. Clever idea doing it in the hoop I usually do the design then cut the fabric.

Did you design the ITH bodice or was it from a website? Love the dress and the little animal design is adorable for a little girls dress.

Great to be able to design ITH this sort of thing. Love it. Without going up to look at a baby/child pattern am unsure of a size but know that my adult head measures 22 1/2 inches--Ha Ha!

The bodice is so cute.Looking at some of my baby patterns 50cm chest is for a 1yr but babies very so much in size it is hard to make something for them without first asking their mothers what size they are.Luckily we have a long summer & a t shirt can be worn under it if the weather is cool.
GD wants this type of dress for the daughter because it only has to fit under the arms & t shirts & shivies under it & a cardigan over it.

Nice job...I would say a 20" finished bodice would be for 18 months to 24 months..depending upon the "chubbyness"...
