Oh, woe is me. I have been embroidering for most of the day and the last design I was on the needle broke. Replaced the needle and it broke again. I realized that it was something a little serious. Took the bobbin and bobbin shuttle out and cleaned. As I turned the wheel to the highest point I heard a grating sound. Something is out of place. Machine all packed up to take to the shop first thing tomorrow. Just hope it is not going to be too expensive or take a long time.

There is nothing worse to ruin your whole day like that "sound" when you know somethings not right. Hopefully it's something that can be fixed quickly and not too expensive.

Hope it is ok. I had a needle shatter inside my sewing machine and found a piece of the needle between the bobbin case and hook race. Still have no idea how it made its way in there! Hope damage nothing too serious.

Thank you ladies for your kind words. These things happen and instead of getting myself in a state I am thinking - now I can get on with all the sewing I have to do. Flowers for all.
