Update. This design is now available in several sizes from My Garden Embroidery design. I think it could be very versatile. The largest on a tablecloth as shown, but the smallest (100mm square) would be good as a border on a tea towel.
This design is just a double pass of running stitch so it could also be used for quilting. I see place mats!
