Happened to me during our big snow 2-3 wks ago--8 inches broke a tree and subsequently my tel/internet line. I reported on Saturday a.m. and because the line was lying in the street, I was told it would be reported as priority. "Priority" showed up at 3 p.m. on Monday. I didn't care about the phone, but sure missed my internet. Hope yours is back soon...we've become dependent, haven't we?

Ouch! Thank goodness you are able to get to Amy's to get your Cute fix. Stay safe.

Also my internet slow as molasses and my phones have a loud buzz. Phones bad forever. I am in a rural country setting and they tell us we have old phone lines and county poor can't fix yet. I think they have better phone service in Antarctica. I feel for you. So frustrating. Hope your having better health and pain getting better. You take care.

Last June we discovered that our phone wasn't working & discovered that a lot of phones in our area were had not been working for about 3 weeks.Nothing was in the local paper & NBN guys were working out the front & they knew nothing about it.After having a trying conversation with Telstra from a public phone at a very noisy intersection ,they said it would be out for about 2 weeks ,but once I mentioned husbands bad health they sent us a mobile phone with our phone number.The mobile didn't work,had to go in their shop 20kms away & found a helpful salesman who fixed it.We were glad when our phone worked again.NBN gets connected next month I hope it works properly.We use Vodafone USB sticks for the internet so that wasn't affected.Maybe you should tell them you are not well & they will sent you a mobile with your number & the charges are the same as the landline charges.Don't know about the Internet .
