I had all this fleece material and decided to make kitty mats with my size 50 US knitting needles.....I cut the fleece into strips and looped them together, made a few big balls out of it and then knitted them.......I made them all multi colored and have 4 of them......I will make some for our local animal shelter as they wash like a dream...the 2nd pic is a close up so you can see how big the stitches are......

Our kitties love them.....Jim is making a new cat tower and I will put these in the cubbies on the tower....I will take a pic of his "masterpiece" (LOL) when he gets it finished........this mat is in my office behind my desk, which is where Jiffy Jo likes to lay.....

What a wonderful idea. Love finding purposes for all the scraps and for a good cause, too. Lovely work.

What a fantastic idea Vicki, I have a lot of scrap polo fleece lying around.
Thanks for the idea, can't wait to see the new tower. Hugs Maureen.
