depends what your looking for? I am going for a scrappy look but will add a solid sashing in between all the blocks to give it a more cohesive look. I am using mostly primary colours so bright. Chances of me keeping this quilt for myself are slim. Are you going to keep it? If so then choose the colours that go with your home décor. Using as many blues as you can & varying degrees of grey & white would be very pretty. As long as you have a variety of lights mediums & darks you will do just fine.
