As some of you know my machine has been in the shop. Yesterday I got around to putting it through it's paces. Face cloths for family and tea towels for various presents. Still have more tea towels to do but not bad for a day's work. My machine is humming.

Wow you have been very busy. Now if I could line up names like yours I will be happy. I figure If I do not get mine perfectly straight I won't be happy so I usually embroider them deliberately on an angle.

I got a giggle abt this comment, So I am not the only one. ..
I deliberately do not line up letters on towels so look like they are dancing across the end (or so I call it), my daughter says she like the look...Bless her heart

Whatever was 'wrong' looks to be very 'right' with your machine now. My day [if I could get going] would be to do one towel with one name and then done for the day. Also got to say: putting a name on the side looks very good. I like this idea instead of everything being put in the center of one. Great job--keep up the work.

I like seeing the name down in the corner instead of centered. I think I might try that.

I always put designs/ names down one side. When they are folded lengthwise you can see them better

Glad you got your machine back and it surly is stitching great. Do you recall the font you used on the names? I do like that "J" and the lower case is very easy to read on the towels. I do love your designs on the stripe towels. I love working with patterns on patterns. It is often a challenge and you did a great job!!! Kay
