I have been working on this King Size quilt for some time & I am so happy to say that it is ready & waiting to be quilted! It was a challenge for me to make something this big on my own. I am as always thankful to cuties for their help with the proper size for a king & for a hst. Those tips worked perfectly! This is another quilt top ready for the Christmas list & I think our youngest will LOVE this. I know that both hubs & I do!

What's not to love? It's so pretty with all the turquoise,aquas, blues. Anyone would be tickled over a present like this. Great work. Will you also do the quilting?

yes I will do my best to quilt this. I will try to quilt them once I get them all ready & I am hoping to have them all ready to quilt by Sept. so I will be busy but I am half done tops for my brood lol. Thanks Toogie ~hugs~

Thanks so much Chris, funny the way things turn out, even though I spent considerable time picking out stitches now it looks so much better. She loves blue & brown together so an easy combination to create. ~hugs~

Sandra, I think she will like it too & I did mention it to her & she said ah mom you realize that now I have to wait 9 months to even see it lol . It was just the perfect thing for her to say. Reminded me of Christmas when she was a little girl.......... the excitement in her voice was awesome! Totally makes it all worth it. ~hugs~

Nice job! Working with large projects can be stressful. The pattern looks like railroad tracks. Is it a purchased pattern or did you make it up? Kay

No I made it up on my own "an original" & I am quite pleased with the way it turned out. Truth is I made it twice the first time I made it without the middle two borders & thought it was done & then found out it was too small so I spent a full day picking the stitches out of all the browns only to start again the next day. I dreamt about the "Prairie Points" Wednesday night so started them the next day & by Friday it was done. I spent about 2-3 weeks making it & did very little else Now I need a break & want to do a light project before tackling grandson's quilt top. Thanks so much Kay ~hugs~

great job Lorayle, king size is hard to make (my last one was king size) but it turned out very nice. I am currently working on a queen size and it is also a lot of work
