UPDATE: So far Sammi is the only one using it........boo hoo......I think as soon as Andi takes their old one (which is in the kitchen now) that they may use it.......they think the one in the kitchen is staying and they have been using it like crazy..........Andi comes today to trim nails and groom, so it will go home with her for her cats....everything gets recycled around here!!

This looks like simple wood boxes, but the boxes are made from strips of poplar plywood. The four sides of these boxes are made from 10 separate strips of wood all glued together. Each strip offset so they fit together like fingers. The post is also made of four pieces of wood beveled so they come together with 4 equal angles and making a hollow box. The sea grass was then adhered to the post as well as on 2 horizontal surfaces. The unit stands about 47 1/2 inches high. Narrated by Jim

Looks like Sammi is the new owner of the penthouse apartment in this new cat high rise tower.Love to see a photo ,when it is fully occupied.
If the cats are silly enough not to use it ,I'm sure you could fill it with your threads,fabrics etc.
