UPDATE On RON: He is being discharged from Hosp and sent to Rehab, too soon I am afraid but through your prayers and God's Grace he is much better. The foot looks good but toe still raw and oozing. Will continue on massive doses of blood thinner to keep it thin enough to get blood flow down to foot and toes. Still has multiple blood clots in both legs both arterial and venous, they are hoping these will be absorbed within 6 months. Still has much pain in legs and possibility of a clot moving to heart or lungs. Still unable to stand or walk. They are hoping Rehab will help give him strength.. Easier on me because cuts my traveling time by an hr.. I live with hope that maybe 1 day I'll be able to take him home. I sleep very little these days. Cannot thank you enough for all your prayers and kind words and caring. Mere words are not enough to express how I feel about you and would love to hug each of you personally...Ron is wants to come home. I weep because I know at this point I cannot care for him at home and try to stay with him by his side as much as I can. Leaves no time for anything else. Again I thank you all so very much/Lillian

I am glad he has moved a bit closer and hope he'll continue to gain strength and get well. Look after yourself, it must take a heavy toll on you. Prayers continue for both of you.

So glad to hear from you and to know that there is progress. It may be that he will have to stay in some kind of care setting. (Have you started facing that?) You must start using that time you've been given back to get some sleep, so you can be in the best situation for him if he does come home! Still praying for excellent care and a wonderful outcome for you two.

Of course your Ron wants to come home and how hard that is for you. But, you watch and see - they will help him so very much right where he is. They will have him up soon and they will help him to walk and take good care of himself. You need to try and get lots of rest and to get ready for his homecoming. Stay busy and trust in the Lord! I wish I was close by and could help you!! I am certain everyone here feels the same way!! Meanwhile, lots of prayers for Ron and for you - take care of yourself!!! Hugs and love, Laura*

Oh Lillian,
Of course he is used to his sweet Lillian caring for him and the comforts of home.

I am glad your travel is cutdown as I worry about your health in all of this.

Continued prayers for your family and his healers.
Hugs,
L

Oh! my dear Miss Lillian, tears are flowing as I read your post. I've been so worried about you both. I'm thankful that Ron is being looked after so well and I pray that those blood clots will be absorbed. Pain in the legs is no fun, I know! I am thankful that your driving time has been diminished and that Ron will be getting some Rehab soon. Prayers are continuing for you both for strength, peace and may our Lord give you rest for times when you can't sleep. Crying is good for you as it removes tension and toxins, so cry as much as you like because it is good for you. Thinking of you both, love Chris (I too wish I could give you a hug and be there for you)

We really miss you, but understand that you can't be here right now. I know how sad this must make you.
I pray for you to be able to rest and to keep up your strength. For Ron to rally and be able to mostly care for himself.
I left you a message on your phone, but don't worry about answering. I was just worried about you. Take care of your sweet self! Love you.

My heart hurts for both of you. Prayers will continue for you both also. Glad he's closer so you can rest a little bit. Wish we were closer to you so some of your cutie friends could actually give you physical support. But be assured lots of prayer support coming your way!

So glad to see this post as I have lost touch. My heart goes out to your ordeal and you must get some sleep or you will be confined also. Your family are in my prayers. Kay
