Last reminder of winter here in Alabama - 36 degrees this morning. So weird, as we have needed air conditioning for about 3 weeks. My dogwood blooms started opening Saturday - perfect timing for Easter. The spring bulbs are over! Daffodils folded the afternoon it hit 81. Other hints of spring: I've killed first snake and first scorpion (in pot I was cleaning out on patio). Ah, it's a wild life when you live in woods. Daylilies are starting up and iris fronds look fresh and ready.
