Sometime you have to use something for awhile before you know what you really want. A couple months ago I got a new Kindle and I made a carrying case for it. After using it I knew there were some things I wanted to change so I made a new one. I added handles and I put a gusset in the pocket that holds the charger so it is a little roomier and now also holds earbuds in a little case. When my friend saw it she wanted one too so I made another one. I made these with fusible foam like the original one and that really provides a lot of protection for my Kindle.

Very practical. It is super when we know how to change it to our needs. Great idea.

Thank you for sharing. This is so useful and pretty. I wonder where to get instructions or have you thought of everything yourself and made it according to measure? How long did it take to do it (approx.)?
Have a wonderful Easter time - Maria

I did not have a pattern. I started out with 2 8.5 x 12.5 rectangles that I fused to the foam and then quilted by sewing straights lines. I made the pocket with the zipper and added that to one side with the handles and sewed the handles on the other side. I joined the two pieces with a zipper on the top edge. Then I sewed all around and I had my bag. I don't know how long it took because I usually do things in intervals while I do other chores as well
