Love the free-standing lace Tamah Edge design. I have used it 8 times and I'm thrilled with the resulting doily.
The single Tamah Edge design is from the Just Lace collection, the single floral design is part of the Oriel & Buds design from A Romantic Era. Both collections are from Sue Box.

I have made this doily in one hooping using my 200x200mm (20x20cm - 8x8") hoop.

It's beautiful! How do you attach the lace to the fabric? Do you make the lace first then sew it on?

I create inner contour stitches in my software and they attach the fabric to the hooped water-soluble Vilene, then the lace is being stitched onto the fabric.
