Finally--results of my daughter's Scans and Biopsies. She underwent Bronchoscopy and next day CT Needle Guidance to get tissue from tumors in lung. Word is now--not cancer but Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis---this is the disease my Dad died from at age 80. She is 46. She is coughing so bad and out of breath if she talks much at all. There is no cure. Her Dr. has been out of town-guessing with school age children and Spring Break. Gets back Thurs so maybe he will get her in quickly to discuss the severity and her options. Her case has escalated so quickly in these last 6 months. Please continue praying and I will update when I know more. I am so worried.

Sounds like good news and bad news all in one breath. I hope that he will be able to find ways to help her live as long as your dad! Continuing to pray for a treatment plan and good care.

So glad it is not cancerous! Still, it is a very seriously disabling disease. Will continue to keep her in my prayers. I understand your worries. May the Lord bless you all with peace of mind and healing.
