Two more mug rugs.

Although I attached the borders of the mug rug in picture 1 ITH, I actually folded them over and hand stitched them at the back creating a border there as well. I did that as I wanted to quilt the backing fabric as well.

Number 2 was done in no time at all. I closed the opening for turning with a bit of steam-a-seam.

Ich hatte die Dateien in Januar gemacht, für den Valentinstag, aber erst gestern die Proben gestickt. Ich freue mich immer wenn das ohne Probleme in einmal einwandfrei gelingt.

These are lovely. I agree with bemara, that they would be great for Valentines Day, or any other "sweetheart" occasion.

I have been digitising a number of them for various occasions but never stitched these two. So now I have quite a few waiting to be tested.

These are beautiful, Martine, I love your rounded ends........

Thanks, those rounded ends are the result of not poking out the corners to the max ;)

Love to see your UFOs completed - it's always a good feeling to have that pile reduced, is not it. I still have dozens of test sample waiting to be put in quilts, one of the days I might have a go...

simple yet elegant. Where did you this these from? very curious how it works. No unfinished seams, yet quilted all the way through. Interesting.
