My Desktop went down this morning. I am using an old Laptop which has not been used for a long time so at the moment it is very slow as it is charging the battery. Thought my life line had been cut off. Think it is the Hard Drive and possibly could put that towards a new computer but everything is on my old girl and I need it. Hope to have it back and running soon or a few days.

Yes, thank goodness. I don't remember any of my passwords so when I get it back I will change them and write them down somewhere. I was starting to think this was not working either so thank You for answering me
Well done for having it backed up. I only have my embroidery designs and important folders/photos backed up. I figure almost everything else is clutter and I could mostly live without or replace if the worst happened.

I know I should upgrade but I understand my old computer. Guess we all breakdown as we get older.

When I told my girlfriend she said I can buy a new computer for that. She doesn't know anything about Computers. I thought that possibly can but it wouldn't be a very good one and what about what I have on my old faithful?

This old Laptop is just so slow. Think it also needs to go and get fixed but I might put that money towards a new Computer and still keep my old Desktop just for my embroidery.

Not funny when your computer goes down. Just remember to back up, especially all those embroidery files.

I don't understand those who don't have a Computer. Feel lost without it and this one should be retired.
