I've been doodling while my embroidery machine was busy. This is the first time I've tried a cathedral window origami pinwheel. It is all done by folding , nipping, tucking and rolling, starting with a much bigger square of fabric than the finished product. I found it quite fascinating to watch it develop!

I've doodled again today, this time all done on the sewing machine. I think this could become addictive!

Hi Stella. Nice to see you here. It is folded and then handstitched then pulled and twisted before rolling back the edges of the central square. It is easier to do than to describe!

I loved your doodling and your striped fabric helped to work out how it is done. I only ironed it and pinned in the middle, have yet to stitch the seams. I'll keep it like this for reference. And use a sturdier fabric for a cushion cover.

I'm looking out for some sturdier fabric already!
